The latest funky bar and bistro in Cromwell – The Stoaker Room at Freeway Orchard.
At this latest eatery in Cromwell, repurposed retired Pinot Noir barrels have become cookers called Stoakers and you must taste the food to believe the flavours created daily in the Stoaker open air kitchen. This quirky and stylish establishment has nooks and crannies that surprise and delight. A marquee with a middle eastern vibe, a cosy indoor space, nicknamed The Chicken Coop, a sunny courtyard looking out over the orchard.
The variety of craft beers on tap is second to none and a great selection of international, local and award winning Wild Earth Wines. The Stoaker Room is open 10am until late every day. No bookings needed and the all-day menu is affordable and delicious with bar snacks, hearty meals, sharing boards, kids’ meals, wine and food matching it is a place for everyone, old and young, to come together relax, and share good times.
This is a comfortable meeting place for friends old and new, with music most weekends and great staff. A take-away service offers quick, hot, workers lunches; delicious family dinners and feasts, catering platters for meetings and parties.
