Situated in a peaceful valley near Tarras and surrounded by stunning mountain views our delightful semi detached strawbale cottage overlooks our olive grove and local farmland.
The units are self contained. One unit has the choice of two very comfortable King Singles or Super King Bed, the other unit has an equally comfortable King sized bed. An adjoining door links the two, making it ideal for families or friends. Each unit also provides a leather settee, cooking and dining facilities.
The Ardgour Valley is situated 7km South East of the village of Tarras on Highway 8. It is a 30min drive from Wanaka, 20 mins from Cromwell, one hour from Queenstown and 40mins from Alexandra and the famed Otago Rail Trail.
Stay a while and enjoy walks, cycling, explore old gold mining areas, wine trails, local arts and crafts, fishing, local county golf course, ski fields and summer fruits. The village of Tarras offers a café, general store, petrol, merino woolen attire, vintage ware, fabric, furniture & fancies.
The cottage garden provides a relaxing atmosphere and BBQ facilities.
