We are a volunteer-led community service for people of all ages and concerns, focused on the needs of youth. We provide support by telephone and text, counseling, community education and training.
Our Community Education Programme supports young people to develop resources for everyday life - the ordinary stuff which helps us thrive - and covers Central Otago, Queenstown-Lakes District, Dunedin, Clutha and South Otago, Waitaki, Timaru, and parts of the West Coast.
In collaboration with Youthlines around the country, our support services are available 24/7. You don't need to be in crisis to ring (0800-37-66-33) or text free (234). You can also email Youthline (talk@youthline.co.nz). These services are free, confidential and non-judgmental.
Our face-to-face counseling is based in Dunedin and is available to young people ages 18 and over, or their parents or family members. To find out more about our Community Education Programme or other services, please contact our office
